Every Agent is an AI coworker that works inside Slack. It's built for companies with more work than people: tag @Every with a job, review what it produces, and revise it in the same thread. Because the work happens where your team can see it, everyone gets better at working with AI along the way.
Who is Every Agent for?
Slack-native startups, agencies, and consultancies with roughly 5 to 50 people. Usually one person, the company's AI champion, sets it up first. The rest of the team picks it up by watching it work in shared channels and reusing the same workflows.
What can Every Agent do?
Start with work that repeats, matters, and is easy to review. Teams use it to:
Draft emails and campaigns in their email tool, held until someone approves
Build launch plans and project timelines in Notion, with owners and deadlines
Redline contracts, with a plain-English note beside each change
Investigate an issue in a codebase and open a pull request for review
Pull Stripe and PostHog data into weekly metrics and forecasts
Catch up on meetings and threads they missed
How is it different from Claude or Codex?
Claude and Codex are personal agents. Every Agent is a company agent: the request, the result, and every revision happen in Slack, where your team can see them and run the same workflow themselves.
How do I add Every Agent to Slack?
Click Get started for free on the Every Agent page and follow the steps to install it in your Slack workspace. Installing needs permission from your workspace owner. Then invite @Every to each channel where you want it to work.
After installation, Every Agent looks through the public channels it can see for work your team repeats and suggests automations one at a time. Nothing is set up until you click Set it up.
How do I use it in Slack?
Every Agent responds when you:
Send it a direct message
@-mention it in a channel it has been added to
Reply in a thread it's already working in
Brief it the way you'd brief a coworker: what to do, which tools or files to use, and where the result should go. For example: "@Every take yesterday's camp recording and write the follow-up to paid subscribers. Drop the draft in #all-emails for review, and don't send it until I approve."
Every Agent posts the result in the thread. To change something, reply in that thread: a new message in a thread adds guidance to the task already underway, while a new message in the channel starts a new task. You can ask it to wait for your approval before anything sends, spends, or ships.
What happens when Every Agent gets something wrong?
It will, especially at the beginning. Correct the work in the same thread. When a workflow is worth repeating, ask Every Agent to save it as a skill so anyone on your team can use it again. You can also ask it to run a job on a schedule, such as a report every weekday morning.
What can Every Agent see?
Only what you give it: the channels it has been added to and the tools you connect, such as Google Drive, Notion, and GitHub. It uses each person's own access, so if you ask for something you can't see, it tells you and offers to ask an admin. For the full detail, see the article on how Every Agent accesses and responds in Slack.
What does Every Agent connect to?
More than 1,000 tools, including Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, Figma, GitHub, Linear, HubSpot, Airtable, Ramp, and PostHog. Every's own apps, Monologue, Proof, Spiral, and Cora, come pre-installed.
What does Every Agent cost?
Every covers the first $15 of each person's usage, up to $500 per workspace, with no credit card needed. After that, an Every subscription keeps it working: $30 per user per month, or $24 per user per month billed annually, plus AI model usage at the providers' own rates with no markup. The subscription also includes Every's essays, podcast, events, and the Monologue and Proof apps. For billing details and spend controls, see the article on Every Agent pricing and spend controls.
Every Agent is powered by large language models and can produce inaccurate or incomplete responses, so review its work before acting on it. For anything not covered here, start a chat from the Messenger or email [email protected]
