Set up Every Agent and understand platform availability

Which models and platforms Every Agent supports, how onboarding works, how to install it in another Slack workspace, and how to restart onboarding.

Every Agent is a Slack-native product that connects to supported services and helps your team complete work from Slack.

Can I choose the AI model?

No. Every Agent selects the model, and model selection isn't currently available.

Can I use my own model API key?

No. Bring-your-own API keys are not currently supported. Do not paste an API key into a message, skill, or script.

Can Every Agent hand work off to Claude Code or Codex?

No. Every Agent can't launch or hand work off to Claude Code or Codex.

Does Every Agent work in Microsoft Teams?

Every Agent is Slack-native, so native Microsoft Teams support isn't currently available.

You can connect OneDrive and Outlook so Every Agent can work with supported Microsoft content while you interact with it in Slack.

How do I install Every Agent in another Slack workspace?

To add another Slack workspace, reinstall Every Agent and select the additional workspace during installation. You can also add another workspace from the Every dashboard.

Each workspace remains isolated, even when you can see several workspaces in one dashboard.

What happens during onboarding?

Every Agent scans the public channels it can see for work your team repeats, shares a short summary of what it understood, and then suggests automations one at a time. Each suggestion shows what it noticed and where the automation would post.

Nothing is set up automatically. Click Set it up to create an automation, then use Run it now to test it once. Click Try another to skip a suggestion. You can ask Every Agent for new suggestions at any time.

What should I do if onboarding does not start or becomes stuck?

Send Every Agent this direct message in Slack:

run onboarding

If onboarding still does not continue, start a chat from the Messenger or email [email protected] and include:

  • The affected Slack workspace

  • The affected user

  • The approximate time the problem occurred, including your time zone

  • Screenshots or the exact error text
