Every Agent helps your team work from Slack while giving administrators visibility into shared resources and activity.
What data does Every Agent retain?
Every Agent is not a zero-retention service. It keeps:
Slack messages, for 90 days. A searchable archive of messages from conversations Every Agent participates in. It includes message text, authors, channel and thread identifiers, timestamps, and file details such as name, type, and size. It does not include file contents. Messages older than 90 days are deleted automatically.
Files. Temporary copies of files Every Agent needs for a task are deleted after 7 days. Files copied into its workspace for ongoing work remain until they are deleted.
Records of work, for as long as Every Agent is installed. Automation definitions, run history, and audit entries, so members can see what Every Agent did. These can include small amounts of message text, such as the message that started a task.
Conversation transcripts, until deleted. Messages and files sent to the agent, its replies, and tool results can become part of conversation transcripts stored by Anthropic, our AI model provider. The 90-day cleanup does not remove them.
Slack remains the canonical source for the full history within a Slack thread.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Slack data isn't used to train AI or machine learning models, and our AI providers don't train their models on it.
How do I delete data?
When a message is deleted in Slack, Every Agent removes its archived copy and related temporary files. Content already in conversation transcripts or working copies needs a deletion request.
When a workspace removes Every Agent, its Slack credentials are deleted immediately and all remaining data for that workspace is deleted within 14 business days.

Requests are completed within 14 business days. Deleting data from Every Agent never deletes anything from Slack.
